			Hi Y'all - For much of April, I've been working on my patio, doing a little writing, and [hint-hint] possibly a little bit of recording. Now it's time to hit the road again. Carrie and I will be back up and down and up the east coast coast. Read on!         1. MAY TOUR DATES           Carrie Elkin and I are doing a double loop-d-loop through the southeast and mid-atlantic, highlighted by a show at the Ryman Auditorium with Emmylou Harris! There will be a lot of great stops along the way in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. Then at the end of the month, I'll be making a quick solo trip out to southern California. Hope to see y'all out along the way. SPECIAL CHARLOTTESVILLE SHOW           We've had an exciting late addition to our May tour schedule. While we're passing through Charlottesville, VA on Thursday, May 17th we're teaming up with some friends for a great songwriter showcase at the Southern Cafe & Music Hall, featuring: myself, Carrie, Nathan Moore, and Diane Cluck . . . passing the guitar around and sharing songs, stories, and camaraderie. Advanced tickets available and recommended.         3. FACEBOOK SELL OUT           In honor of Facebook's one hundred billion dollar valuation, I've decided to monetize my Facebook Page. I know, I know . . . it's been so pure up til now. Well, now it's still pure . . . a pure shopping experience. CDBaby has made a beautiful Facebook store widget to purchase my music through Facebook. PRINT OF THE MONTH CONTINUES           Here's April's photo of the month, taken in Pewaukee, WI when Carrie and I were passing through the midwest last month. For some reason, a star-spangled checkers board struck me as the most iconic image of simple midwest patriotism I had come across. 			Hi Y'all - Happy springtime to you. We just got home from the upper midwest where, apparently, wintertime never happened. So for you people, happy Second Half of Spring. Carrie and I are happy to be staying close to home for the month of April. We have a number of Texas dates this month, but nothing further away. In May, though, we hit the road again with some very exciting dates. Read on!         1. APRIL TOUR DATES           Carrie Elkin and I will again be sharing all our shows this month. They'll be split-bill song-swapping smack-talking affairs. All in Central Texas. Dates are all listed in the left side bar. <--------------------------------- See!         2. VERY SPECIAL SHOW IN AUSTIN           There's a very special show on Saturday, April 21st at the Cactus Cafe. Our good friends and absolutely brilliant songwriters, Devon Sproule & Paul Curreri, have just moved to Austin and we wanted to throw them a big welcome party to try and introduce everyone to their music. You will be completely charmed by their artistry and their personhood. Paul & Devon will be gracing us with a set . . . and we'll have a whole talented gaggle of Austin friends, playing one song each. Featuring: myself, Carrie Elkin, Sam Baker, Colin Brooks, Dan Grissom, Owen Temple, Vanessa Lively, Jack Wilson, and more. Advanced tickets are highly recommended.         3. LOOKING AHEAD TO MAY TOUR DATES           May's gonna be fun. Highlighted by the show with Emmylou Harris at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, we've got a great run of shows up and down the midatlantic and the south. Look out: GA, SC, NC, TN, VA, MD, and DE!         4. PRINT OF THE MONTH CONTINUES           Here's March's photo of the month. Eastern PA is always beautiful in late winter. 			Hi Y'all - Hope everyone's doing great. Things are good from our end. Just in between two tours, with a little window at home for SXSW. Lemme get right to March's update . . .         1. MARCH SHOW DATES           March kicks off with a couple Central Texas shows, then a wild week of SXSW festivities in Austin. Then Carrie and I head up north to MN & WI for a couple weeks worth of split-bill shows. Please peruse the dates in the left sidebar. Hopefully you can join us one of those nights. But in case not, please do us the favor of forwarding the info to any friends or family you have in the area who might be interested. We would be much obliged.         2. VERY EXCITING NEWS . . .           Check this, y'all. You're gonna think I'm making this up. But I'm not. It's true: Carrie and I are opening a show for Emmylou Harris at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on Friday, May 11th. This is two dreams come true at once. The Ryman is one of the great historic music halls in the world. And Emmylou Harris has, as far as I'm concerned, the world's finest voice. So, yeah, we're excited about this opportunity.         3. TOURS ON THE HORIZON           Looking ahead at our schedules later this spring, Carrie and I will be coming to the great states of: TX, GA, SC, NC, TN, & VA. You can get all the details HERE.         4. PRINT OF THE MONTH CONTINUES           Here's February's photo of the month. The cactus heart for Valentine's Day seemed to be the fan favorite this month. So I'm making that the print of the month . . . 			Hi Y'all - Well, it had to happen eventually. Winter break is over for me and Carrie. We have to take off our construction hats and put back on our folksingin' caps. Look out world, we're back on the road!         1. FEBRUARY TOUR DATES           All shows will be split-bill songswap concerts with myself and the splendiferous, Carrie Elkin! We will be visiting the fine states of Floridia, Tennessee, Alabamia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. We hope you will come on out if we're passing near your neck of the woods. Or if you have friends and family in those areas, please send em our way. We have a blanket "nice to people's family" policy . . . hard as that is, sometimes.         2. UPCOMING TOUR PLANS           In the very near future, we will be touring in the following states: VA, DC, TX, MN, WI . . . so fire up the Ford and hide your daughter's daughters, we're coming to town.
